Proudwork latest feature: Event hosting + signup
This week at Proudwork, we launched a new feature: you can now create, list, and collect sign-ups for your next event — all within Proudwork,.
This feature actually came from a user request as they host live music events and wanted a simple way to post their sets, share BTS photos, and promote their merch all in one place.
Here’s how it works:
Create your event page
Include details like: digital or in-person, cost, capacity, and whether it’s public or private.Guests register with their email
You’ll receive a confirmation email
Guests will get reminder emails
You’ll have a dashboard with names, emails, and sign-up timestamps
BTW, Proudwork is actively looking for sponsors and raising funding soon; if you would like to get in pre-seed or make a donation to our wall - please feel free to reach me anytime :)
The event listing process 👇🏽
We’ll use our live listing as an example (page is live if you’d like to check it out)
Front facing UI:
Here’s what the public event page looks like — it includes:
Date & time
Location (link your digital event or map for in-person attendees)
Visibility (private/public)
Registration button
Number of attendees + social proof (names)
Registration form:
When someone registers:
You (the creator) get an email notification
Attendees get a confirmation email with all the event details (time, date, location)
The data populates into your attendee list automatically
Backend event creation view:
Much like the front end, the backend includes all your event info.
There’s also an “Attendees” button in the Hosted By field — click it to view your attendee list.
Attendees sign up list:
For each event, you can view:
Attendee name
Email
Time they signed up
We’ll continue refining this for even more robust capabilities.
Future proofing:
While everything is functional, this feature is still considered beta.
We’re already planning to expand it with:
Stripe integration (accept payments directly)
Text message reminders
Attendee grouping for recurring events
Time spent: 1.5 weeks from concept → ship → live
If you’re planning to host an event whether digitally or physical location - feel free to try ours out - would love your feedback!
Til next time 💓
